On full moon our energy is at its fullest. The moon is bright, our minds and bodies are bright. Practice during this time can cause injury due to the vigor that may occur during practice. Best to rest. In India it is recommended not to be exposed to the power of the moons energy during this time. Observe and appreciate then take time to rest and store the energy built within. New moon our energy is low. Taking rest allows us to slow down with the cycle of the moon. Again, best to rest!
